WOOD
Wood is one of the most common materials salvaged from demolition sites. It includes various types such as hardwood, softwood, and engineered wood.

In the United States, wood waste accounts for about 40% of total construction and demolition debris.

Approximately 70-90% of wood waste from construction and demolition can be salvaged and reused.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), around 600,000 tons of wood waste are generated annually in New York City alone.
